KLUB LUMIÈRE

(KIIT French Society)

A Student-Driven Co-curricular Society for German Language and Culture

INTRODUCTION

The importance of learning foreign languages in today’s globalized world cannot be overstated. Multilingual competence enhances intercultural understanding, academic growth, and professional opportunities. Among global languages, French occupies a prominent position, being spoken across multiple continents and serving as a key language in international diplomacy, education, culture, and business.

Recognizing the academic, cultural, and professional significance of French, the Department of Language and Literature proposes the establishment of a French Club titled “Klub Lumière.” The club aims to complement classroom learning by providing students with opportunities for extracurricular engagement, cultural immersion, and collaborative, student-led activities.
