Ms Mami Kimura is a Visiting Faculty in the School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University, India for Japanese language and Culture. She has completed her bachelor’s degree from Shizuoka University, Japan. She is a native Japanese language teacher and an overseas volunteer of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). She has an experience of teaching at Japanese language schools in Tokyo, Japan and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Mr Rajesh Kumar (라제쉬)

Visiting Faculty- Korean

Mr. Rajesh Kumar is a Visiting Faculty in the School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University, India for Korean Language and Culture. He has completed his Bachelors and Masters from the Centre for Korean studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has completed his course work for the award of PhD in Korean Modern Literature from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea. He is the recipient of the prestigious Global Korea Scholarship. He holds an advanced level-6 of Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK). He has a vast experience of teaching, translation and interpretation for various national and International organizations including the Ministry of Justice, Republic of Korea.

Ms Saranya ( )

Visiting Faculty- Chinese Mandarin

Ms Saranya is a Visiting Faculty in the School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University, India for Chinese Language and Culture. She is pursuing her PhD at the Centre for Chinese and South-East Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has completed her Bachelors and Masters in Chinese language from the same university. She was awarded a Confucius Institute Scholarship to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages at Tianjin University, China. Her research interests include domestic politics of China, Sino-Indian ties, Sino-US relations and Indo-Pacific.

Mr. Deba Prasad Satpathy

Visiting Faculty (Spanish)

Mr. Deba Prasad Satpathy is a visiting faculty in the School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University, for Spanish language and Hispanic culture. He is a Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Hispanic and Italian Studies, School of European Languages, The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, from where he also earned his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Spanish. He has prior corporate experience as a Spanish Language expert with Amazon Development Centre, Hyderabad. He has presented papers at various international conferences and is published in UGC care listed journals. He is currently involved in researching Mexican literature, with a specific focus on northern Mexican narco-literature.

Ms Sally Saleh(سالي صالح)

Visiting Faculty- Arabic

Ms Sally Saleh is a Visiting Faculty in the School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University for Arabic Language Training and Proficiency Development. She is a native Arabic speaker from Syria with more than five years of teaching experience. She has studied M.B.A. from KIIT School of Management, Bhubaneswar, India.

Ms Neetu Jain

Visiting Faculty- Japanese

Ms. Neetu Jain is a visiting faculty for the Japanese language at the School of Language & Literature, KIIT, Deemed to be University. She is JLPT N3 qualified and is a certified Japanese language trainer by Japan Foundation, New Delhi and Embassy of Japan in India. She has recently completed an advanced N2 level course from NEC Japanese Language Academy, New Delhi. Besides, she actively participates in several teacher training courses organized by the Japan Foundation, the Embassy of Japan, and JNU, New Delhi. She is a recipient of the JENESYS award, which promotes Japanese cultural learning in East Asia. Ms. Jain is an MBA (IT & HRD) from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan.

Ms Suchismita Bastia

Visiting  Faculty- English & IELTS Preparatory 

Ms Suchismita Bastia is a Visiting Faculty in the School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University for English Language Training and IELTS Preparatory Course. She has 16 years of experience in English Language Teaching, Corporate Training and Content development. She is a British Council Certified IELTS Trainer. She studied M.A. and M.Phil. in English with ‘Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT). Current she is pursuing Ph.D. in ELT.

Ms Amrita Chhotaroy

Ms Amrita Chhotaroy is a Visiting Faculty in the School of Language & Literature, KIIT Deemed to be University for English Language Training and Soft Skills Development.  She has more than 20 years of training experience in Corporate and University in preparing, designing and delivering course modules on Communicative English, Business English, Voice and Accent Training, Effective Communication Skills, Phonetics, ELT, TESOL, Phonetics, IELTS/TOEFL Training, Career Advisory, Personality Development, Train-the-Trainers etc.  She is a British Council Certified IELTS Trainer. She has studied M.A. and M.Phil. in Linguistics and ELT and is currently pursuing Ph.D. in English.

Dr. Priyabrata Mishra

Guest Faculty (Sanskrit)

Dr. Priyabrata Mishra is the Guest Faculty (Sanskrit) at the KIIT School of Language & Literature. He has over 11 years of experience in teaching Sanskrit at reputed Govt. Institutions. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor and HoD (Vyakarana) in Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri.  Earlier he was associated with Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Darbhanga (Bihar) as Assistant Professor in Sanskrit (Grammar) and also taught at K.J.Somaiya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Mumbai. He is Vyakaranacharya (M.A in Sanskrit), Ph.D (Sanskrit Vyakarana), B.Ed, NET-JRF (June 2009) qualified. He has published 40 Research Papers in National & International Journals along with 5 books with ISBN number. He is Editor of Pratna Kirti research journal (A peer-reviewed half yearly journal) and Associate editor of UGC care listed journal “Vyasa Sri”. He was awarded Gold Medal from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan for securing 1st rank in Acharya (M.A) Examination 2009.

Dr. Debasis Mohapatra

Guest Faculty (Odia)

Dr. Debasis Mohapatra is Guest Faculty (Odia) at the KIIT School of Language & Literature. He is a Senior Fellow at Centre of Excellence for Studies in Classical Odia, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Bhubaneswar. He also teaches at Eastern Regional Language Centre of the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Bhubaneswar. Previously he was Language Instructor in American Institute of Indian Studies to teach Odia language to American students. In his overseas work experience,  Dr. Mohapatra was Assistant Professor(Linguistics) at Omar-Al Mukhtar University, Tobruk, Libya, North Africa for 9 yrs from 2007-2016. During the work period at Libya, he visited Egypt, Bahrain, Turkey, Dubai, Abu Dhabi etc for language/ linguistics purposes. He has done Ph.D.  in Odia  from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar  in 2004. He studied M.A. in Sociolinguistics from Utkal University of Culture from 1999 to 2001 and M.A. in Odia from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar from 1990 to 1992.  He has some books to his credit like Difficulties Confronted by American English Speakers Learning Odia (Research Work), Bhasa O Sahitya, Byakarana, Ama Barnamala, Bhasakatha etc.

Mr Dupukuntla Rameshbhushan

Guest Faculty (Telugu)

Mr Rameshbhushan is the Guest Faculty (Telugu) at the KIIT School of Language & Literature. He has over 20 years of experience in linguistic research, documentation and teaching of Telugu and tribal languages. He is associated with Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Mysuru for more than a decade now. At CIIL, he was initially involved with Southern Regional Language Centre in research and teaching Telugu as Second Language at Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels with Telugu Phonetics and Phonology, Structure of Language, Texts & specially focusing on LSRW. Later on he started working as a Senior Resource Person for the project titled Scheme for Protection and Preservation of Endangered Languages (SPPEL) to document the endangered languages and cultures of India under the supervision of CIIL.  He also worked at the Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute and Directorate of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. He studied M.A. (Linguistics) from Osmania University, Hyderabad and currently under-going Ph.D. in Linguistics University of Mysore, Karnataka.

Dr. S. Tamilselvam

Guest Faculty (Tamil)

Dr. S. Tamilselvam is Guest Faculty (Tamil) at the KIIT School of Language & Literature. He is teaching Tamil Language & Literature to Non-Native Speakers as Second Language at the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, located at Mysuru from 01st July 2009 to till date. He has completed his Ph.D and M.Phil in Tamil University, Thanjavur, Tamilnadu. He has completed his B.Ed at Tamilnadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU), Tamilnadu. He has trained more number of foreign trainees and IAS officers in Tamil Language. His area of interest is Tamil Language Teaching as Second Language (L2). He has Completed National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lectureship in 2007. He has good language proficiency in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English and manageable proficiency in Telugu & Hindi.  He has made Malayalam-English-Tamil Dictionary (ISBN No.81-7342-014-9) and Tamil-English-Malayalam Dictionary(ISBN No.81-7342-015-7)

Dr.  Vijayalakshmi  A. Patil

Guest Faculty (Kannada)

Dr. Vijayalakshmi A. Patil is Guest Faculty (Kannada) at the KIIT School of Language & Literature. She has been teaching Kannada language & literature at the Southern Regional Language Centre, Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Government of India, Mysuru since 2004. She is also a Faculty of Linguistics for the Post-Graduate students at the Department of Linguistics, Kuvempu Institute of Kannada Studies, University of Mysuru.  She is associated with Administrative Training Institute, Mysuru to teach Kannada to the non-resident Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers. She has completed her M.A. and Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Mysuru, Karnataka where she was awarded Gold Medal for topping in M.A. Linguistics program. She has passed the State Level Lectureship Eligibility Test (SLET) accredited by UGC, New Delhi in 1997. She is involved in translation works from Kannada to English and English to Kannada in different areas   related to legal matters, medicine, literature, education etc.

Ms Bandana

Visiting Faculty (Bahasa Indonesia)

Ms. Bandana, M.A. in Translation, has more than fifteen years of experience working as a foreign language expert in various IT companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Polaris International, and Infosys as a Spanish and Indonesian language expert. As an Indonesian expert, she has been engaged in Concentrix Daksh India Private Limited, Gurgaon, for the last six years. She has completed two years of Certificate and Diploma in Bahasa Indonesia from Jawaharlal Nehru University. She won the Indonesian language speech contest organized by the Government of Indonesia at its Embassy in New Delhi Aug 2015. Subsequently, she visited Indonesia for 1.5 Weeks, sponsored by the Government of Indonesia in 2015.
