Dr Gourab Chatterjee, Assistant Professor, School of Languages, KIIT Deemed to be University successfully delivered a lecture on “Stream of Consciousness” as the Resource Person for the One Week Online Faculty Development Program (12th-18th July 2021) on “Study of Literature through the lens of Psychology” organized by Amity Institute of English Studies & Research and Amity Institute of Psychology & Allied Sciences, Amity University Jharkhand.

Ms. Debanjali Roy, Assistant Professor in School of Languages, KIIT Deemed to be University was selected for the fully funded Online Summer Programme on Japanese Cultural Studies organized by University of East Anglia and the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures, United Kingdom for the year 2021. Due to Covid-19 protocols, this academic event was held virtually from 12th to 23rd July 2021 and attended by selected academicians and researchers working in the field of culture and language studies, globally.

Ms. Milan Kumari Panda, student of B.A. English Honours, School of Languages, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar has successfully presented a paper titled “15th -17th Century: The Concept of Pre-Feminist Thoughts” in the National level Student’s Webinar 2021- English Language and Literature: Exploring New Horizons organised by the Department of English Language and Literature, School of Liberal Arts and Culture Studies, Adamas University, Kolkata on 23rd July 2021.

Ms. Akankhya Sahu, student of B.A. English Honours, School of Languages, KIIT  University, Bhubaneswar has successfully presented a paper entitled “Navigating and analyzing Dead Poets Society” in the National level Student’s webinar 2021- English Language and Literature: Exploring New Horizons organized by the Department of English Language and Literature, School of Liberal Arts and Culture Studies, Adamas University, Kolkata on 23rd July 2021.

Prof. Debanjali Roy, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Languages has successfully completed one week Faculty Development Programme on “Psychological Skills for Effective Teaching and Learning.” from 01-07 June, 2021 organized by Teaching Learning Centre, Ramanujan College, University of Delhi and obtained Grade A+.

Prof. Tanmoy Putatunda, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Languages has successfully completed one week Faculty Development Programme on “Psychological Skills for Effective Teaching and Learning.” from 01-07 June, 2021 organized by Teaching Learning Centre, Ramanujan College, University of Delhi and obtained Grade A+.

Dr. Pramod Kumar Das, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Languages has successfully completed one week Faculty Development Programme on “Recent Trends and Challenges in Research” from 10-18 May, 2021 organized by Teaching Learning Centre, Ramanujan College, University of Delhi and obtained Grade A+.

Prof. Tanmoy Putatunda, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Languages delivered a lecture in the Two Day National Webinar organized by the Department of English, Faculty of Humanities and Science, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute Deemed to be University, Chennai, India from May 6 to7, 2021. His lecture was titled “Postmodern Philosophy and Literature” which discussed various philosophical approaches and theories pertaining to postmodernism and also touched upon contemporary perspectives and literature.

Prof. Debanjali Roy, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Languages delivered a lecture in the seven day online Faculty Development Program from January 18 to 26, 2021 on Technology Enhanced Language and Literature Teaching in Higher Education organized by the Department of English, Faculty of Humanities and Science, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute Deemed to be University, Chennai India. Her lecture was titled “Bending, Blending and Building Classrooms: Use of Technology in Teaching Pedagogy ” and discussed the use of Web 2.0 in changing educational contexts.
