Ms. Debanjali Roy, Assistant Professor in School of Languages, KIIT Deemed to be University was selected for the fully funded Online Summer Programme on Japanese Cultural Studies organized by University of East Anglia and the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures, United Kingdom for the year 2021. Due to Covid-19 protocols, this academic event was held virtually from 12th to 23rd July 2021 and attended by selected academicians and researchers working in the field of culture and language studies, globally.

His lecture was titled “Postmodern Philosophy and Literature” which discussed various philosophical approaches and theories pertaining to postmodernism and also touched upon contemporary perspectives and literature.

Prof. Debanjali Roy, Assistant Professor, KIIT School of Languages delivered a lecture in the seven day online Faculty Development Program from January 18 to 26, 2021 on Technology Enhanced Language and Literature Teaching in Higher Education organized by the Department of English, Faculty of Humanities and Science, Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute Deemed to be University, Chennai India. Her lecture was titled “Bending, Blending and Building Classrooms: Use of Technology in Teaching Pedagogy ” and discussed the use of Web 2.0 in changing educational contexts.
